To the most people today Open Office assumedly does not need to be introduced.
Anyway it shall not be kept from those who may not have heard of it so far.
Open Office is a comprehansive program containing all components to suit todays office software needs not leaving wishes open.
It is available for many operating systems, in numerous languages and completely free.
If necessary the data can be stored in the formats of many other office-programs and so be transfered.
As an open-source-project it is permanently upgraded by many members most of them working honorary.
As thanks & compliment to all of them bringing in their creativety and effort, it shall be mentioned here
maybe animating further people to join the project ...

GIMP = GNU Image Manipulation Program assumedly is known to most people today.
Allthough its popularity it shall be mentioned here for all people who, might have not heared abou it so far:
GIMP is a very comprehansive and powerful image editing program.
Versions for various operating systems are available !
As its developers put it under "GNU" General Public License it can legaly be downloaded for free.
